The chef

 

yourchef is a creation by Jose Rodrigues.

In 1998 Jose Rodrigues starts off his professional career in the gastronomical world at Madrid, where he begins as a cooking clerk and climbs step by step all the levels. He impregnates himself with the secrecies of the Mediterranean cooking, the respect of the ingredients and the best recipes… He comes along with his training in restaurants like "La Broche" of Sergi Arola in Madrid (** Michelin) while following a University degree in Tourism.

In 2004 he makes a traineeship in "The Fat Duck" of Heston Blumenthal, near London (*** Michelin), restaurant belonging to the elite of the best restaurants in the world. In the pastry of the Fat Duck, he discovers the perfection of the preparations, the respect for flavours, the original ingredients, the simplicity and elegance of dressings. Cooking becomes definitively his passion.

In 2005 he makes his debut as Chef in the "Terranea" restaurant, in Madrid. Deploying all his knowledge of the authentic Mediterranean cooking, he begins to create his own recipes. The success does not await: in a quarter, the frequentation of the establishment makes a jump of more than 30%.

In 2007 Chef Rodrigues settles down in Brussels and sharps his talents in the restaurants "De la vigne à l'assiette" and "le Chalet de la Forêt" (* Michelin) of Pascal Devalkeneer.

In 2008 José Rodrigues creates in Belgium "your chef", a home cooking service to make you discover a universe of flavours in your own home.
